Squad Runs

This week's mile will be a Squad Run.  Each squad will run together.  They will trade off who leads and the leader sets the pace.  Sportsmanship, teamwork, and leadership skills will be required to get the entire squad to finish.  There is no time limit, though almost all students finished the first 2 miles in 15:00 or less.  Let's see that teamwork!!

Intramural Volleyball Games

Any students interested in playing volleyball at lunch against other teams, get a team of 6 players and submit your names to Coach De Luca or Coach Tili.  We need names by next Monday.  Games will start on Wednesday of next week.  We will meet in front of the Falcon Mart at noon.

Tuesday/Wednesday

Tili's class is working on passing, setting, and serving.  De Luca's class is playing football.

Runday Monday

Monday our goal was to run/jog for 1:00 without stopping.  This will help us learn to pace ourselves and build cardiovascular endurance.  Each Monday we will run a little bit longer, in hopes of decreasing our weekly mile run times. 

PACER

This is our first PACER of the year.  We will complete 40 laps today.  If you need to stop and rest, start back up when you can.  Each lap is 20 meters, so a total of 800 meters(1/2 mile). 

Sept. 26-29

Tuesday and Wednesday PE classes played Volleyball(Tili) or Football(De Luca). Thursday and Friday will be a mile or PACER day, followed by the respective sport for the week.
